‘The Strain’ Season 3 Spoilers: Episode 7 Synopsis Released Online; What Will Happen In ‘Collaborators’? [VIDEO]

FX’s “The Strain” has only four episodes left to air in Season 3. This week, episode 6 saw Councilwoman Justine Feraldo launch an attack on the main strigoi nest below Central Park in Manhattan. With the help of Fet, Gus and NYPD Captain Kate Rogers, Feraldo was able to kill the nest, but at night, thousands of strigois reclaimed the park above ground. What will happen in episode 7?

With the season finale airing soon, “The Strain” Season 3 will pick up the pace in terms of storytelling. According to the synopsis (via SpoilerTV) of episode 7, titled “Collaborators,” Stoneheart CEO Eldritch Palmer (Johnathan Hyde) will be frail and close to death. Thomas Eichhorst (Richard Sammel) and The Master have denied giving the billionaire the white – a concoction that allows the consumer to prolong his life without turning into a vampire.

The promo of Season 3, episode 7 shows a weak and infirm Palmer surrounded by tubes and machines. Eichhorst refuses to give him the white. However, as per his deal with Setrakian (David Bradley), he can still procure the concoction. He asks his old rival to give him the white in order to hold up his end of their bargain.

The upcoming episode of “The Strain” Season 3 will also see Vasily Fet (Kevin Durand) upset about losing the battle at Central Park. To make matters worse, he discovers a long-hidden family secret that leads to a personal loss. Is it something regarding his parents?

Nevertheless, the trailer shows Setrakian consoling a distraught Fet. The strigoi hunter and Quinlan (Rupert Penry-Jones) discovered that the only way to take down The Master is by trapping him in a box lined with silver.

Setrakian will offer hope by sharing a new plan to trap The Master on “The Strain” Season 3, episode 7.

Meanwhile, Dr. Ephraim Goodweather (Corey Stoll), who recently discovered that his son is alive, will seek out The Master’s “voice” with the help of Dutch Velders (Ruta Gedmintas).

For those who haven’t heard the news, “The Strain” has been renewed for a fourth and final season.

“The Strain” Season 3, episode 7 premieres on Sunday, Oct. 9 at 10 p.m. EDT on FX.
