Fifteen-year-old Bronx resident, Vada Vasquez, is fighting for her life after she was accidently shot in the head Monday afternoon as she walked home from school.

Investigators are questioning two men in connection with the stray bullet that hit Vasquez, NY Daily News reported.

The bullets were fired by a hooded gunman on a bike meant for 19-year-old Tyrone Creighton striking him on the torso but a stray bullet hit Vasquez at the back of her head.

According to relatives on Tuesday, Vasquez was put in a medically-induced coma after undergoing a surgery to remove bullet fragments from the inside of her skull.
