Stray Kids’ ‘God’s Menu’ Music Video Reaches 300 Million Views On YouTube
Stray Kids hit another milestone this year as the music video for their 2020 hit track “God’s Menu” hit the 300 million mark on YouTube Sunday.
The tune is the lead track of their studio album, “Go Live” released in June 2020 which also carries other fan favorites such as “Go Live” and “Easy.”
“God's Menu” features the eight-piece act as restaurant employees and race car drivers explaining that their products as incomparable and distinct. The music combines various elements of pop and hip hop and its lyrics speak of the group’s determination to chart their own course in the competitive music industry.
The English lyrics of the song opens with rapper Changbin welcoming listeners to the restaurant as the seven members rock to the beat while holding pots and pans.
Changbin raps: “Welcome/It’s easy to choose what you want in this store/Anything on the menu will satisfy your five senses/Magpies and crows.”
Felix later sings, ”We just keep on making new things/ because we’re one of a kind/No one can copy us/our own game/from the start, it’s all ours.”
Stray Kids, composed of Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin and I.N recently made South Korean President Moon Jae-In proud as they performed ntheir chart-topping hit, “Thunderous” in front of VIPs during Expo 2020 Dubai earlier this month.
Following its release in August 2021, the track topped iTunes Top songs charts in 44 regions including France, Argentina, Colombia and Sweden.
The fourth-generation musicians won their first Seoul Music Award’ Grand Prize or Daesang last year.
Meanwhile, Felix recently discussed his maturing personality after noticing a change in his personality type as indicated by Myers-Briggs Type Indicator.
The 21-year-old performer said his personality type used to ENFP which stands for the “Extraverted, Intuitive, Feeling, and Prospecting type.” But recently, he said it switched to ENFJ or the “Extraverted, Intuitive, Feeling, and Judging personality type.”
“I think these characteristics reflect that I have become more mature. For example, after moving dorms, my lifestyle patterns have changed. I sleep early, exercise a lot, and go on many walks,” Felix told Singles Korea.
