The honeymoon is over for Mama June Shannon and Mike “Sugar Bear” Thompson of TLC’s “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.” TMZ is reporting that the parents of Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson have separated after more than a year of marriage and a nine-year relationship.

Mama June released the following statement to the site:

“Sugar Bear and I have decided to take some time apart to figure out some things in our relationship. We are taking things day by day, but regardless of what happens the girls will always be our #1 priority. We want to thank ya’ll for your support.”

The reports of Mama June and Sugar Bear heading to splitsville broke on Friday. According to TMZ, the reason was Sugar Bear cheating on his baby momma. A source revealed that the reality star matriarch caught her husband “trolling on online dating sites” – one of them being PlentyOfFish.com. TMZ allegedly obtained Sugar Bear’s Plenty of Fish username -- Georgiafighter31054 -- and was able to access his profile. The Georgiafighter31054 account has since been removed, but a screen shot of the profile reveals that the user is a 42-year-old male named Mike from McIntyre, Georgia. The profile lists him as a single dad who enjoys hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.

Mama June and Sugar Bear got married (in camouflage) on May 5, 2013, in a ceremony that was filmed by TLC for their reality show. The wedding aired during the Season 2 finale on Sept. 11, 2013. During the special Sugar Bear was forced to participate in a tradition of sleeping in a tent in the backyard the night before the wedding. He told the cameras that he would “sleep in the sewers for [Mama June].”

While Mama June and Sugar Bear might be experiencing some relationship problems, another member of the “Honey Boo Boo” family is doing much better. Sugar Bear’s brother, Lee “Uncle Poodle” Thompson, recently got engaged to his boyfriend.
