‘Suits’ Season 6, Episode 9 Spoilers: Is Mike Really Getting Out Of Prison Soon? [VIDEO]
In this week’s episode of “Suits,” Mike (Patrick J. Adams) and Harvey (Gabriel Macht) finally convinced Jill (Amanda Lisman) to flip on her own father, William Sutter (Alan Rosenberg), who was charged of insider trading. Mike was the one responsible for Jill coming forward, so he should be out of prison soon based on a previous deal he and Harvey made with Sean Cahill (Neal McDonough). But is the former faux lawyer really heading out of jail just like that?
In the preview clip for next week’s Season 6, Episode 9, titled “The Hand That Feeds You,” Harvey and Cahill seemingly want Mike to do one more thing before he can finally leave his cell for good.
“I didn’t sign on [the deal] to get someone killed,” an upset Mike tells Harvey in the video.
“You signed on to get yourself out,” Harvey reminds him.
At the end of the teaser, Mike accuses Cahill of abusing his power for apparently trying to get someone killed. It’s clear, however, that Cahill doesn’t want to comprise.
“You want to see abuse of power? Your deal is gone,” Cahill unsympathetically tells Mike.
Now that Mike’s deal to get out of prison is no longer in place, until when is he staying behind bars? During the “Suits” Season 6 premiere event in New York City last June, Adams told reporters that he doesn’t know how long his character will be in prison.
“They’re committing to it,” he said (via ABC News) of the writers’ dedication in developing Mike’s prison storyline. “We're committing to it as a full storyline. Do I think it’s going to be a full two years worth of the show? My guess is probably not.”
“The Hand That Feeds You” airs on Wednesday, Sept. 7, at 9 p.m. on USA Network. Check out the synopsis for the episode below:
“To protect Mike, Harvey contemplates returning Gallo [Paul Schulze] to the streets; Jessica [Gina Torres] and Rachel [Meghan Markle] have Bailey’s [Glenn Plummer] case re-opened; and Louis [Rick Hoffman] faces his anxiety about Tara [Carly Pope].”
