Summer Solstice 2011: Bad omen for Amy Winehouse
Today is Summer Solstice 2011. The ancient Celts believed that although this is a time of merriment for some, it brings out evil spirits.
That seems to be the cases for a descendent of the Celts, British musical icon Amy Winehouse. Analysts say Winehouse is the musical talent of this generation.
Winehouse showed up an hour late to a concert in Belgrade Saturday, and the Serbs jeered her off state when she appeared to be singing under the influence.
Serbian Blic daily called the concert the worst in the history of Belgrade, according to the Associated Press.
Winehouse announced yesterday that she would cancel the remaining 12 stops to her summer tour.
She has been in and out of rehab- ironic because that's the name of the song that made her famous.
