Popular adult-film actor Sunny Leone landed in India as she joined reality game show Bigg Boss season 5 from this week.

The 30-year-old, who landed in Mumbai on Thursday, entered the Bigg Boss 5 house on Saturday night. The show was aired on Colors channel on Monday.

She wrote on the micro-blogging site Twitter, “There is so much going on and I cant believe how welcoming everyone in India is to me being on Bigg Boss 5. I love you all so much, thanks”.

She further tweeted, “As of today my twitter will be updated by my web team. I entered the Bigg Boss House and met everyone. Monday you will see the first episode.” Her entry in the show seems to have been inspired by Pamela Anderson’s successful innings in the last season.

Leone danced to the number Chaiyya Chaiyya, and charmed the Bigg Boss contestants immediately. She chose to wear traditional Indian attire on her first day. Contestants apparently were so impressed with her that they immediately started inviting her to stay in their rooms.

Born to Punjabi parents in Ontario, Canada, Leone worked at a bakery before entering the pornography scene. She changed her name for reasons of security.

Meanwhile, it was reported that she has been approached by filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt for his film, Murder 3.
