Samsung Galaxy Note, which was featured in a Super Bowl ad on Sunday, wowed the audience with its big size and stunning looks.

Samsung's first hybrid of the smartphone and tablet, known as the phablet is all set to hit the U.S. market on Feb. 19. But there's good news for Samsung enthusiasts, they can pre-order the phone from AT&T's official Web site.

With Galaxy Note, South Korean electronics giant Samsung brings in a new category of smartphones that combines great features of the smartphone and a 5.3-inch HD Super AMOLED viewing screen (almost of the size of a tablet) and advanced input technology while retaining a pocketable design.

Check out the specifications of the Galaxy Note as announced by Samsung.

Display: Galaxy Note will sport a 5.3-inch high-definition Super AMOLED display that will give a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and about 285 ppi pixel density.

Display Protection: The Samsung smartphone will have Corning Gorilla Glass display protection.

Size: Galaxy Note will come with 146.85 x 82.95 x 9.65 mm dimension and weigh 178 grams.

Processor: It will have a dual-core 1.4GHz Scorpion CPU Qualcomm MSM8660 Snapdragon Adreno 220 GPU with 1GB RAM.

Camera: Galaxy Note will sport a rear-facing 8 megapixel LED flash camera but with 1080p HD video capture capabilities and 2 megapixel front-facing camera for video call.

Camera Features: The Samsung smartphone will have Single Shot, geo-tagging, touch focus technologies and some additional features like face and smile detection, Panorama, Share Shot, Beauty and Image Stabilization.

3G/4G: Galaxy Note will have HSDPA up to 21 Mbps, HSUPA 5.76 Mbps and will support 4G LTE.

Operating System: Galaxy Note will run on the Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system with the promise of an upgrade to Google Inc.'s latest smartphone OS Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

User Interface: Samsung's Phablet will have TouchWiz user interface.

WLAN/Bluetooth/USB: Galaxy Note will support Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, DLNA, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi hotspot along with Bluetooth 3.0 version with HS, EDR, microUSB (MHL) 2.0 version and USB On-The-Go (OTG).

Storage: Galaxy Note will give 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.

Audio Feature: The phone will have DNSE Music Library, 3.5 mm ear jack, Stereo FM Radio with RDS and 3-D sound technology (only for earphone).

Battery: Galaxy Note is coming with a standard Li-ion 2500 mAh battery, which is expected to give up to 960 hours standby time in 2G and up to 820 hours in 3G and talk time of up to 26 hours 10 min in 2G and up to 13 h 30 min in 3G.

Pricing: Galaxy Note will become available from Feb. 19 for $299.99 with a two-year AT&T contract.

Additional Features: Galaxy Note will come with the S Pen stylus, which is a capacitive stylus pen that allows users to crop, copy, write or draw on the device's built-in apps and other applications that it supports.

Other features will include accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, barometer sensors, assisted GPS, GLONASS, Adobe Flash, Java MIDP emulator, NFC, active noise cancellation with dedicated mic, TV-out (via MHL A/V link), SNS integration, image/video editor, Google Search, Maps, Gmail, YouTube, Calendar, Google Talk and Picasa integration.
