Tom Brady continued to create history as the New England Patriots won the Super Bowl for the sixth time after beating Los Angeles Rams 13-3 at the Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta on Sunday. He is now the only player in NFL history to own six rings beating Pro Football Hall of Famer Charles Haley, who has five rings.

The Patriots quarterback did not have the best offensive game on Sunday going 21-of-35 for 262 yards with one interception. But Brady did set up the only touchdown in the game with a 29-yard completion to tight end Rob Gronkowski in the fourth quarter.

The completion that led to a touchdown for Sonny Michel was Brady’s sixth game-winning drive in the fourth quarter or overtime of the Super Bowl. No other quarterback has more game-winning drives in the post-season since 1970.

The Patriots' record-breaking feats did not end there as the victory on Sunday now makes him also hold the record for most career wins with 237. Indianapolis Colts kicker Adam Vinatieri has 236 wins, according to ESPN.

Brady was absolutely delighted after claiming his sixth Super Bowl ring and admitted that it was a dream come true for the entire team. He also heaped praise on the Patriots defense claiming that it was their best game of the season.

"It was an unbelievable year and we fought through it more so than anything and it’s unbelievable to win this game,” Brady told CBS Sports’ Tracy Wolfson immediately after the win.

"They played so well I mean the Rams defense played their butts off, what a great defense, they had a great plan and made it tough for us on every play. We just kept fighting and finally got a touchdown and the defense played the best game of the year,” he added praising the Rams.

The one question that was inevitable was about Brady’s future in football. He has continued to insist he wants to play until he is 45, but many speculated he could call time on his career if he adds another Super Bowl ring to his kitty.

The Patriots quarterback, however, stuck to his stance about continuing when asked if the win on Sunday had changed his mind. He said: “It doesn’t change anything. I just want to spend time with my family, my kids and my wife and I could not do it without their support.”

Meanwhile, receiver Julian Edelman was named the Super Bowl MVP after he made 10 catches during the game, but most of the focus remained on Brady, who received praise from all across the sporting world with the “GOAT” – greatest of all time – being the unanimous verdict.
