Super Bowl Injury Report: Baltimore Ravens Hurting On Both Sides Of The Ball, Ray Lewis, Ed Reed, Anquan Boldin Highlight Questionables
That two-week layover between the AFC Championship and the Super Bowl was sorely needed for the Baltimore Ravens.
Fifteen Ravens are currently listed as questionable, though only two did not participate in Friday’s practice. Several big names stand out, as Baltimore preps for their showdown with the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl XLVII.
Star wide out Anquan Boldin, who caught two touchdowns in the AFC title win over the New England Patriots a week ago, is battling a shoulder injury.
Linebacker Ray Lewis continues his career send-off, but is also listed as questionable with the same triceps injury that kept him out for most of the regular season.
Then there’s safety Ed Reed whose played through a shoulder injury for much of the season, and nearly got the Ravens in trouble with the NFL after he wasn’t officially listed on the injury report earlier this year.
