Supermodel Cindy Crawford Not Slowing Down Anytime Soon

Supermodel Cindy Crawford is not slowing down anytime soon. She said recently that she will call it a day when she hits 50. However, she took to social media and said that she will not retire entirely from modeling on Monday.

“Every year, I tell my kids I’m retiring. It’s a running joke in our family,” she captioned a picture of her on Instagram. Cindy added that every year she plans to quit and every year something crops up which excites her. The 49-year-old supermodel now wants to focus her attention to her businesses, her family and friends.

However, she refrained from making any final statement about her retirement. She said that being a part of the fashion fraternity for 30 years she has learnt to “never say never” to any opportunity that comes up. She thanked all her fans for their support and was excited for 2016 and the things the year had in store for her.

The black and white picture shows Cindy standing with her hands behind her head and her hair tousled. The brunette beauty gave major envy in a thigh-high split pencil skirt, which shows off her toned legs. Her midriff baring top features criss-cross detailing with a halter neckline.

The dress also shows off her toned abs. She wears a pair of lace-up boots to complete her look.

The supermodel and mom-of-two will celebrate her 50th birthday this month. She has just released a book titled “Becoming” last year. Cindy has covered Rhapsody magazine for its February issue. Speaking to the magazine, she said that after all these years in modeling and after turning 50, she does not think it necessary to prove herself.

At this juncture of life Cindy wants to concentrate on other areas like her family, friends and other endeavors. She specified that she would definitely have her pictures clicked, but for other purposes. The wife of Rande Gerber, co-owner of tequila company Casamigos, along with her colleagues Naomi Campbell and Claudia Schiffer featured in Bamain’s Spring/Summer 2016 campaign.
