‘Supernatural’ Season 10 Spoilers: Bobby Returns In Episode 17; Will He Help Save Dean?
“Supernatural” will be welcoming back a familiar face to the Season 10 story line of the hit CW series. And according to Entertainment Weekly, it’ll be a character that both the Winchester boys and viewers will be excited to see! That’s right, we’re talking about the reprisal of fan favorite Bobby Singer, portrayed by actor Jim Beaver.
Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean’s (Jensen Ackles) father figure will return to episode 17 of “Supernatural,” titled “Inside Man” -- but not in the way you would expect. A sneak peek video, which you can watch here, reveals that the late Bobby Singer will be contacted by Sam and Castiel (Misha Collins) through a radio.
So why is Sam so desperate to reach his beloved friend? Well, it’s because that pesky Mark of Cain is getting worse and worse, which means Dean is becoming more violent by the second.
“Hey, Sam,” Bobby says after getting contacted by Dean’s little brother. “Remember when this job was just chopping up some fang and then tossing back a cold one?” And although we wish we could watch these two walk down memory lane for an entire episode, Sam admits that they have more pressing matters to discuss -- like the well being of his big bro.
But Bobby isn’t so sure he can be of any service, after all things have changed since his soul went to heaven. “I ain’t exactly playing on the big leagues these days,” the former hunter addressed his dwindling supernatural skills. “I’m mostly drinking and reading the classics.” Bobby then lifts up a copy of Tori Spelling’s 2008 book, “sTORI Telling.” “The truth is, I’m rusty. Maybe there’s somebody better out there.”
But Sam claims there isn't – especially not someone who can bring Dean back to the light. “With Dean the way he is, this is all we got,” Sam explains.
Will Bobby help Sam rid Dean of the Mark of Cain? Sound off in the comments section below with your predictions and don’t forget to tune in to episode 17 of “Supernatural” when “Inside Man” airs Wednesday, April 1, at 9 p.m. EDT on the CW.
