KEY POINTS
- "Supernatural" Season 15, episode 9 will air on Jan. 16
- The TV series will come to an end this year
- Sam and Eileen may end up as a couple
“Supernatural” Season 15 is on a short break for the holidays. Episode 9 will not be airing this week, and the fans will have to wait for a while before the show returns.
This is the last season for the TV series and each episode has been crafted carefully to give the show a worthy send off. Many of the cast members from the previous season have returned one last time for some nostalgia, and the story is setting up some interesting storylines for the ending.
The one aspect that has eluded the Winchester brothers is love. That may change by the end of the season. Eileen Leahy (Shoshannah Stern) has been living with the brothers and she has been getting close to Sam (Jared Padalecki), CBR reported. Dean (Jensen Ackles) has also been supportive of the budding relationship that may develop into a full-blown romance in the near future.
With the TV series coming to an end, the producers may be aiming for a happy ending for the brothers. Will “Supernatural” Season 15 end with Sam and Eileen as a couple?
The show has become a big hit among the fans, but the original plan was quite different from what the audience know and love about the TV series. According to Screen Rant, Eric Kripke initially wanted to make a movie about two brothers who were supposed to be journalists instead of monster hunters. Sam was called Sal back then and the Winchester brothers were going to be the Harrison brothers.
One of the main characters on the show in the past few seasons has been Lucifer, a character that has been played by multiple actors. Screen Rant has compiled a list of things that the fans probably don’t know about the fallen son of God, including how he has had a total of 11 vessels so far.
“Supernatural” Season 15, episode 9 is titled “The Trap.” It will air on Jan. 16 on The CW.
