‘Supernatural’ Star Jensen Ackles Joins Instagram; Shares First Selfie With Fans

Better late than never! “Supernatural” stud Jensen Ackles has finally taken the social media plunge and joined the rest of us filter-loving fans on the widely used sharing app, Instagram. (We’ll give you a moment so you can quickly follow him.)

So, what was the first image that the 37-year-old CW star posted to his personal account? Well, it was none other than an adorable selfie – with his daughter! Ackles, who portrays Dean Winchester on the long-running drama, struck a sweet pose with his little girl Justice Jay “JJ” Ackles, which he then shared with his thousand of Instagram followers.

“Hello Instagram,” he captioned the father/daughter photo.

In the image, Jensen sports a black t-shirt and a sexy side smile while Justice poses like a pro with a slight grin and tousled hair. Looks like Justice got her photogenic skills from her mama! In May 2010, Jensen and actress/model Danneel Harris, who viewers best know from her stint on “One Tree Hill” as Rachel Gatina, got hitched in Dallas, Texas.

Three years later, the couple welcomed the arrival of their first child together, Justice, in May 2013. “We are happy to announce the birth of our precious baby girl, Justice Jay ‘JJ’ Ackles,” the couple confirmed on Twitter. “She was born happy and healthy on May 30th.”

A few months following the birth of Justice, Ackles dished to Us Magazine what it was like balancing life as a TV star and a devoted father.

"A friend of mine says it's a slightly different gear, and I said, 'Different gear? No, you put it in park, you get out of the car, you get in a different car, you take a left down a wrong street,'" he continued. "That's basically where I'm at now."

But Ackles has since mastered the multitasking gig and is entering his 11th season on the hit CW mystical series “Supernatural,” which will return on Wednesday, Oct. 7, at 9 p.m. EDT.
