Superstar Rajinikanth’s Family Upset over Move to Make Biopic on Him

Tamil superstar Rajinikanth's family has reportedly expressed unhappiness over Atul Agnihotri's move to produce a biopic on the actor.

Bollywood actor Salman Khan is supposed to act in the lead role in the Hindi biopic.

We are not aware of this project and don't approve of it without proper talks. Please convey our disapproval to the producer Atul Agnihotri and director Lloyd Baptista, Times of India reported Rajnikanth's daughter Soundarya as saying.

Soundarya said that the family had not given permission to any group or individual to make a film on the country's most saleable actor.

Meanwhile, director Lloyd Baptista informed the media that Rajinikanth's manager had told him that the actor was reading the script.

Reports said that Rajini's family was concerned about the flick as filmmakers tend to use fictional content to arouse the curiosity of the audience. Rajini apparently didn't want to send wrong signals to his fans.
