Is ‘Superstore’ New Tonight? 7 Things To Watch On Nov. 9

While “Superstore” usually airs new episodes on NBC on Thursdays at 8 p.m. EST, its starting its month-long hiatus tonight.

Instead of the sitcom, NBC will air “Football Night in Arizona” from 7:30 p.m. EST until 8:30 p.m.

The broadcast will have the NBC football crew preparing viewers for all the action to come during “Thursday Night Football” game between of the Seattle Seahawks at Arizona Cardinals.

For “Superstore” fans that aren’t football fans, there are plenty of other options on TV tonight. (Note: All times are EST.)

“The Big Bang Theory” (8 p.m. on CBS) This new episode is titled “The Geology Methodology.” According to CBS, “Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Bert (Brian Posehn) collaborate on a research project, despite Sheldon’s embarrassment. Also, Penny (Kaley Cuoco) and Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) coach Koothrappali (Kunal Nayyar) on how to navigate his relationship with Ruchi (Swati Kapila).”

“Grey’s Anatomy” (8 p.m. on ABC) The long-running Shondaland series will air its milestone 300th episode.

“Gotham” (8 p.m. on Fox) A new episode of the Batman prequel series airs tonight called “A Dark Knight: Stop Hitting Yourself.”

“Supernatural” (8 p.m. on The CW) The fantasy-horror series continues its 13th season with a brand new premiere.

“MythBusters” (8 p.m. on Discovery) Prepare for three hours of all-new mythbusting.

“Project Runway” (8 p.m. on Lifetime) Grab a warm blanket and watch as designers try their hand at winter-themed looks.

These other series will help fill the void of “Superstore” tonight while fans wait until it returns with new episodes next month, on Dec. 5, with the seventh episode of Season 3, called “Christmas Eve.”

The show’s Twitter account knows how sad the hiatus is and wishes fans the best. “Wish you didn't have to go so soon,” the account tweeted on Nov. 2, “but we'll see you next month for more #Superstore!”

Mateo (Nico Santos) had an ear infection and looked to the store’s pharmacist for a cheap answer, while the rest of the Cloud 9 employees tried to start a store health fund to help him out, as well as future health problems of the store’s members. It, of course, didn’t work out too well.

“Superstore” is currently set to arrive with a new episode on NBC on a new day and time, Tuesday, Dec. 5 at 9:30 p.m. EST.
