Supreme x Tiffany & Co. Collab Drop: What To Expect, When, And Where To Buy
Skate clothing brand Supreme and luxury jewelry retailer Tiffany & Co. revealed a new collaboration Sunday after weeks of speculation.
The two brands took to Instagram to announce the move, which will launch on Thursday. Supreme recently invited Instagram followers to register for shopping at its forthcoming Berlin location. Women’s Wear Daily noted the collaboration will open at 74 Torrestrasse.
According to Hypebeast, featured items will be the already promoted-on-Instagram a pearl necklace with a silver tag featuring a male model wearing it and will also include sterling silver necklaces, a heart-shaped key pocket knife, and studs, and a star bracelet.
Though it is unusual for a streetwear brand and a jewelry brand to collaborate, Supreme had done a collaboration with Louis Vuitton in 2017. The brand followed with a range of luggage items in a 2018 collaboration with Rimowa, which is owned by LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton. The luxury goods corporation acquired Tiffany & Co. in 2020.
The collaboration is in conjunction with Tiffany’s "This Is Not Your Mother’s Tiffany" campaign, which collaborates with musical artists Jay-Z and Beyonce in an ad with a previously unseen painting by Jean-Michel Basquiat. It also features Beyonce wearing Tiffany's infamous yellow diamond only worn by three others previously and first unveiled in South African in 1877.
Tiffany’s ad campaign also includes Blackpink singer Rose and actresses Tracee Ellis Ross and Anya Taylor-Joy. Other stars promoting the brand include model Hailey Bieber and NBA player Kyle Kuzma.
New York-based Supreme, which is owned by VF Corporation, has done collaborations with many other brands including Nike, North Face, Vans, Champion, and Levi's.
