Even as the embers of the fire engulfing her parent's divorce gradually die down, Suri Cruise has begun to take the first steps towards resuming normal life with Katie Holmes, away from the over-protective glare of Tom Cruise.

Entertainment Today reports that from September this year, the six-year-old daughter of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes will commence classes in the Sacred Heart Catholic School. Suri, who has been homeschooled until now, gets to share classes with kids of her age group in the all-girls school.

With a fee of $38,000 a year, the Sacred Heart School boasts of some famous alumnae, including Lady Gaga, Paris Hilton, Caroline Kennedy and Jordana Brewster.

Suri, who is now sharing a $12,500 apartment with her mother in New York's Chelsea neighborhood, earlier enjoyed the confines of seven bedroom home valued at $35million and 10,000-square foot mansion in the company of Tom Cruise.

Once classes commence, Suri will also be required to attend Catholic mass every Thursday that was little unheard of in the company of Tom Cruise, reports the US Magazine.

Reports from Hollywood Life indicate that it's not just Suri who has been caught in the crossroads with the divorce, but Tom's adopted children with his former wife Nicole Kidman are also at a loss. Isabella 19, and Connor 17 shared a good rapport with Katie and Suri and with their moving out, the older children seem to miss their younger sibling.

Besides, further interactions between the older children and Katie appears impossible as the Church of Scientology prevents interactions between believers and non-believers or suppressive person as they are known.

Tom Cruise, who has been accorded generous visitation rights for Suri, has committed to work together with Katie in the best interests of their daughter.

It is not known how Suri will evolve in days to come but what is very clear is that Katie will be the major influence in her life. The Batman Begins star has vowed to provide a normal life for Suri and has even ended her five-year-old marriage with Tom Cruise to realize this objective.
