Surprise! 'The 100’ Stars Eliza Taylor and Bob Morley Married

Eliza Taylor and Bob Morley, the actors who play beloved Clarke and Bellamy on the hit CW show The 100, finally announced have married in secret. Their wedding news comes as a surprise to everyone as it is the first time Eliza and Bob have publicly acknowledged that they are in a relationship.

“Recently I married my best friend and soul mate @WildpipM We are very happy and ask that you keep your comments kind and respect our privacy at this time,” the Australian actress tweeted and Robert Alfred Morley shared his own announcement on Twitter, writing, "It is with such a full heart that I call @MisElizaJane my wife This is something we both cherish very deeply and are beyond happy. Please remember to be respectful and kind to one another. Be well be kind.". The 100 is currently in its sixth season.

The 100, an American post-apocalyptic science fiction drama television series premiered on March 19, 2014, on The CW. The series, developed by Jason Rothenberg, is inspired by the novel series of the same name by Kass Morgan. The show has already been renewed for season 7. For her role in The 100, Taylor was nominated for Choice TV Actress: Sci-Fi/Fantasy at the Teen Choice Awards from 2015 to 2018. Many fans have been rooting for Eliza and Bob’s characters on the show and so the wedding comes as a big surprise.

Although the show is filmed in Canada, both stars are from Melbourne, Australia. Morley told TV Overmind in a 2014 interview about his chemistry with Taylor: “To be honest, that chemistry is a surprise to Eliza and myself. We never intended to create that tension between the characters, I feel it is more the tension of the scenario that is at play" and now they are married! Along with hundreds of fans who took to Twitter to congratulate the couple, The 100 creator Jason Rothenberg sent his well wishes to the newlyweds. “I want to wish my deepest congratulations to @MisElizaJane and @WildpipM! May they have a lifetime of happiness and love,” he wrote.
