‘Survivor’ 2020 Spoilers: Boston Rob Reacts To Big Elimination In Episode 2 Preview
The season premiere of “Survivor: Winners At War” saw the elimination of not one, but two former winners of the CBS series. Ahead of next week’s return of the 2020 installment, find out what to expect in episode 2, "It's Like a Survivor Economy.”
In episode 1, viewers watched as the Sele tribe eliminated Natalie Anderson in order to separate her from her longtime ally Jeremy Collins.
Later in the installment, the Dakal tribe lost an immunity challenge, resulting in them heading to tribal council. While the players seemed to have an issue narrowing down who to vote off, it ended up being Amber Mariano who was sent packing.
Despite being voted off, the two cut players didn’t go home— they headed to the Edge of Extinction in the hopes of earning their way back into the game.

Now, in episode 2, Amber’s husband, Boston Rob Mariano, will learn of his wife’s elimination.
A preview of the episode shows his reaction and reveals his upset that Amber’s elimination could have been the work of two-time winner Sandra Diaz-Twine. “It could’ve been Sandra,” Rob can be seen telling his tribe mate Parvati Shallow.
“If she voted my wife out, this is war,” he later tells the cameras.

While Rob may be upset about his wife heading to Extinction, it appears Amber knew she was at risk for having such a strong connection going into the season.
“I knew coming into this game that I had a huge target on my back,” she said post-elimination in episode 1.
Apparently, Amber also knew that Sandra, who would go on to become part of her Dakal tribe, was not to be trusted.
In a pre-season interview, Amber told ET Canada that Rob warned her to look out for Sandra following their time spent together on last season’s “Island of the Idols.”
“I don’t know her personally. I’ve learned about her a little bit from Rob. He’s told me to be very careful with her. I think she’s really good at almost switching up her personality and being one way with some person and being another way with somebody else. He’s gone back and forth and I have too whether or not I think she’s a good person to have around or a bad person to be around… I wouldn’t be sad to see her go early on.”
Catch “Survivor” Season 40, episode 2 on Wednesday, Feb. 19, at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
