Susan Sarandon made waves on the internet Saturday night with the outfit she wore at the 22nd annual Screen Actors Guild Awards. The actress wore a bra under a suit jacket to the awards ceremony and introduced the in memoriam segment of the show. Piers Morgan took a shot at the 69-year-old actress on Twitter following her appearance and Sarandon responded back Thursday.

The morning after the award show, Morgan posted a tweet calling Sarandon "tacky." On "Throwback Thursday," Sarandon sent Morgan a tweet featuring a photo of her in a bra in a scene from the 1975 cult classic "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." Morgan, 50, then sent a strange photo of himself back to her. You can see the tweets below:

Morgan continued to bash Sarandon days after the SAG Awards on Twitter Wednesday. He claimed that he didn't have a problem with her outfit, but he felt it was disrespectful to wear while introducing an in memoriam tribute.

While the talk show host may have thought Sarandon was "tacky," many fans responded positively to the actress posting the photo. Lots of people said there was nothing wrong with what Sarandon wore and said she looks great.

Morgan's photo on Twitter on the other hand, was not warmly received. Several fired shots at the journalist for his recent tweet.

It's unclear whether or not this will escalate into a Twitter war on the scale of Kanye West and Wiz Khalifa. However, for now, it appears as though the battle has been won by Sarandon.
