24-year-old Shalaya Briston is the woman who allegedly stabbed 30-year-old ex-NFL player Terrelle Pryor. In her mugshot, she is pictured smiling after being processed for attempted homicide.

Here is the mugshot provided by @ChrisLovingoodWTAE:

Briston was Pryor’s girlfriend at the time she allegedly stabbed him during a fight at their apartment in Pittsburgh. TMZ reports that Briston was arrested on Saturday morning.

If you look closely at the mugshot you can see a bruise on Briston’s nose. This is what the cops apparently noticed when she was arrested, signifying that there was a fight between the two.

TMZ Sports obtained court documents that said a witness told the police that Pryor was the initial attacker in the fight and that he waited for her to come back from the club with her friends.

The witness added that the fight ended up in the kitchen and that’s when Briston “allegedly grabbed a sharp object” and stabbed the ex-football star in the chest.

It was reported that cops heard a witness say Briston was “just defending herself.” The witness then added, “We should have let him die.”

On Nov. 30, ESPN’s Adam Schefter tweeted: “Former NFL WR Terrelle Pryor underwent surgery this morning and is in critical condition after being stabbed last night at his Pittsburgh apartment in the shoulder and chest, per source.”

Briston and Pryor always tried to keep their relationship private, with Heavy reporting that the two never posted pictures of each other on social media. Her Instagram contains pictures of her dressed up and Proyer's is all of him playing football.

Pryor was drafted by the Oakland Raiders from Ohio State in 2011 and continued to play in the NFL on multiple teams until 2018. He is currently a free agent.
