‘Sweet/Vicious’ Stars Nick Fink, Aisha Dee And More Praise Eliza Bennett’s Performance As Jules In Episode 6
Last night’s Season 1, episode 6 of “Sweet/Vicious” was a big episode for Eliza Bennett. Her character Jules finally got the courage to confront Nate (Dylan McTee) for sexually assaulting her and tell her best friend Kennedy (Aisha Dee) for the first time that her boyfriend raped her. The 24-year-old English actress outstandingly delivered the right emotions for both scenes, earning herself some praises from several of her co-stars.
In a tweet, Nick Fink — who plays Jules’ love interest, Tyler — gushed about the honesty and vulnerability that Bennett brings to her character. Dee, meanwhile, tweeted that Bennett is the “perfect” actress to play Jules.
Skyler Day and Victoria Park, who portray Jules’ sorority sisters Mackenzie and Gaby Cho, respectively, also took to Twitter to commend Bennett’s performance in the episode.
Bennett, on the other hand, revealed on Twitter that Jared Frieder’s excellent writing made her performance in the confrontation scene between Jules and Nate much easier. “I owe this scene to @jaredfrieder writing for being Jules’ fuel,” she tweeted. “His words were raw, heartbreaking, necessary & made my job infinitely easier.”
As for Jules and Kennedy’s heartbreaking scene, Bennett explained in a series of tweets why it was difficult for her and Dee to film it.
