‘Switched At Birth’ Season 5 Spoilers: Episode 7 Synopsis; What Will Happen In ‘Memory (The Heart)’? [VIDEO]

Although the characters on “Switched At Birth” Season 5 are slowly starting to get their lives together, the last curve ball in episode 6 will prove to be problematic for those involved.

“Bay (Vanessa Marano) and Daphne (Katie Leclerc) are flooded with memories of their late father after meeting a mysterious woman,” the synopsis teases.

In the promo for “Memory (The Heart),” Daphne and Bay can be seen spending time with the mysterious woman, Ally (Tristin Mays). While the girls seem happy to meet Ally who is carrying a piece of their father (Gilles Marini) inside of her, they soon become suspicious and question if she is telling the truth.

“Meanwhile, Toby (Lucas Grabeel) is caught between his mother’s wishes to baptize his son and his wife’s feelings about faith,” the synopsis says. Although he is not featured in the promo for “Switched At Birth” Season 5, episode 7, viewers know this will be a difficult choice for Toby.

He and Lily (Rachel Shenton) already had a terrible wedding, and it isn’t likely that he will want to disappoint his new wife. However, Toby enjoys making his mother Kathryn (Lea Thompson) happy. Who’s heart will he break when he reveals his decision?

Elsewhere, Melody (Marlee Matlin) will be working on repairing Emmett (Sean Berdy) and Travis’ (Ryan Lane) relationship. “Melody asks her sons to make amends so the family can be together for her birthday,” the synopsis states.

Emmett and Travis have been fighting because they both have feelings for Bay, and this season it looks like Emmett is interested in rekindling his romance with Travis’ girlfriend. Will the guys be able to put their feelings aside to celebrate Melody’s special day?
