Syfy '31 Days Of Halloween' 2015 Schedule: Horror Movies And Scary Special Highlights
Don’t bother flipping the channel when Oct. 1 hits, because Syfy is the destination station for all things Halloween. That’s right, the annual “31 Days of Halloween” event is back for its eighth year, and fans won’t want to miss all the bloody, frightening and downright haunting action.
This year “spook-a-thon” viewers will be able to watch over 600 hours of chilling programming – and that includes new original movies and Halloween-themed episodes of “Ghost Hunters” and “Paranormal Witness.”
With so many hours of “spook-a-thon” programming, here are some highlights from the 2015 “31 Days of Halloween” schedule:
- Saturday, Oct. 3 – “Night Of The Wild” -- At 9 p.m. ET catch the new original movie, “Night of The Wild.” “Gossip Girl” alum Kelly Rutherford and “Vampire Diaries” actress Tristin Mays star in this movie about a quiet town where pet dogs begin attacking after a meteor crash.
- Saturday, Oct. 10 – “Ominous” -- “Game of Thrones” alum Esme Bianco joins Barry Watson of “7th Heaven” fame in this new original movie about a couple rocked by the death of their six-year-old son. When a stranger offers to bring the child back, the two jump at the chance. But the boy that returns is much different from their son. Catch this new movie at 9 p.m. ET.
- Saturday, Oct. 17 – “They Found Hell” -- College students secretly experimenting with teleportation accidentally get trapped in hell. Needless to say, the trip is no picnic. Watch “They Found Hell” at 9 p.m. ET.
- Saturday, Oct. 24 – “The Hollow” -- Three sisters move in with their aunt on Halloween. But instead of a happy new family, the three women must face a deadly creature that’s threatened their island town.
Other movies set to air on Syfy during October include “Blade II,” “Cabin In The Woods,” “The Fog,” “Fright Night” (2011), “Hostel,” “I Am Legend,” “Insidious: Chapter 2,” “The Last Exorcism,” “The Omen” (2006), “Orphan,” “”Silent Hill: Revelation,” Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning” and “Underworld.”
Meanwhile, “31 Days of Halloween” viewers won’t want to miss “Ghost Hunters” at 9 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Oct. 28. The TAPS team investigates a haunting at Southern Vermont College. At 10 p.m. ET, “Paranormal Witness” will tackle the story behind the 2013 horror flick “The Conjuring.”
