Tablet Shootout: Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus Vs Amazon Kindle Fire Vs iPad 2 - And the Winner is...
A Side-by-Side Comparison of the Most Popular Tabs
It depends on what you want to do with it. The Kindle Fire is only Wi-Fi enabled. You have to be near a wireless router/signal or hotspot. Great for reading of course, and that's what plenty of people want to do with it. Otherwise, it could come down to price if you want the kind of does everything tablet offered by Apple and Samsung. It's tempting to pick Samsung based on that, but the winner of the tablet shootout is iPad 2. The tablet shootout will be reprised though as different versions from each manufacturer come out. Then with more ammo, perhaps Amazon or Samsung can come out on top.
