Caley Mason, a Taco Bell client, was sentenced to seven years in prison after multiple criminal charges involving an incident where she slashed a man's throat.

The 22-year-old gave a guilty plea to second-degree assault with a knife. The victim Jason Luczkow got an 8-inch gash in return for his efforts to dissolve the situation.

The altercation started after Luczkow told Mason to stop picking on the Taco Bell employees, implying she ought to "zip it." A resident of Sandy, which is 30 miles east of Portland, Luczkow, claimed they walked into the restaurant as the young woman was berating the employees for taking too long.

It has reached the point management told Mason to leave the premises, but she continued to lay on them until he told her to be quiet.

Mason then left the restaurant according to witness reports but came back moments later with a knife and proceeded to attack Luczkow. All this was happening while her boyfriend and two young children waited in the car.

Following the attack, Mason fled in a Kia Soul, nearly running over Luczkow’s wife in the process. Police claimed they pulled her over with her companion and two children aged two and four.

Detective Sam Craven reiterated the police found Mason’s blonde wig, which she had been wearing during the assault in her boyfriend’s pants.

She was taken into custody and indicted on several criminal counts.

Her boyfriend, Philip Thomas, was also arrested for tampering with physical evidence though his case was dismissed later.

A lucky Luczkow told local media she had missed his carotid and jugular vein by millimeters. The scene allegedly looked like he was dying. His wound required more than 100 stitches though no significant damage was done.

He recently had to grow facial hair to mask the scar. Luczkow added that he does not particularly like having a beard, but he liked looking at the injury even less.

The couple had gone to Taco Bell to pick a few snacks and pizza that night. Luczkow’s wife must have thought her husband was playing a practical joke when he began gasping.

She did try to pursue the knife-wielding assailant and almost got ran over by her car.

The records show Mason’s children traveled back home with a relative. Incidentally, she was already convicted of a robbery charge after sticking up a pizza delivery-man at her home in Maryland.

She is probably going to serve more time in prison once her sentence is done.
