Taco Bell Wants Your Vote: Will Enchirito Or Double Decker Taco Make Comeback?
Taco Bell is letting customers decide its next menu addition.
Customers are to decide whether the Double Decker Taco or Enchirito comes back for a limited time.
Taco Bell said the Double Decker Taco and Enchirito have been two of the most popular orders when on the menu.
The Double Decker Taco was first introduced in 1995 for a limited time. Then it was a permanent menu item from 2006 until 2019.
The Double Decker Taco features a flour tortilla layered with beans, which is then wrapped around a crunchy taco shell filled with seasoned beef, lettuce, and cheddar cheese.
The Enchirito was first appeared on the Taco Bell menu in 1970 and was discontinued in 2013. It is made of a flour tortilla that has been filled with seasoned beef, beans, and diced onions that are rolled up and topped with classic red sauce and melted shredded cheddar cheese.
The winner of the vote will appear on Taco Bell menus nationwide before the end of the year. Customers can vote daily in the Taco Bell app through Tuesday. The winner will be announced on Oct. 7.
Participants in the vote need to be Taco Bell Rewards members. One vote per person can be recorded daily.
