Apple set to unveil new iPhone after 15 month hiatus

New Apple CEO Tim Cook began his first product launch on Tuesday at Apple's headquarters in Cupertino by trumpeting all of his company’s successes, but after almost an hour of self-promotion and smaller updates, Apple unveiled its latest iPhone, the 4S.

Instead of the expected iPhone5, Apple has unveiled the iPhone 4S with a price tag of $199 set for an October 14 release date. While many were disappointed with the release of a sequel to the iPhone 4 during the Tuesday Let's Talk iPhone event in Cupertino, Calif., the iPhone4S, while aesthetically similar, has some great updates in features.

But in the end, the iPhone 4S the company unveiled today has many of the features expected, including voice Assistant, more member (16GB) and (32GB) versions, and more.
