Tamar Braxton Addresses ‘The Real’ Feud Rumors After Opening Up About Exit On T.D. Jakes’ Show
What feud? Tamar Braxton is denying that she’s beefing with Jeannie Mai, Loni Love, Adrienne Bailon and Tamera Mowry-Housley. Ever since the “Love and War” singer was fired from the daytime talk show “The Real,” there have been rumblings of tension between her and the cast but Braxton is setting the record straight.
On Monday night, the 39-year-old singer and reality star took to Instagram to share a clip from her appearance on the “T.D. Jakes Show.” In the video, Braxton is asked if she would ever return to “The Real.”
“I would really have to pray about it and think about it because at the end of the day I have to pay attention to why God removed me from that situation,” she answered. “And I believe he removed me from that situation to protect me from that situation.”
In the caption, Braxton said she was ready to put the feud rumors to rest and she wishes the show and the remaining co-hosts nothing but the best. “I don’t wish ANYONE harm, bad luck, or cancelations, but I truly wish the girls, AND the real good luck and may God smile upon you! NOW … Can we put the ‘so called feud’ to rest?? [Love] ya!! I’m not sitting at home crying… God is GOOD,” she wrote in the lengthy post. You can read her full caption below.
Earlier on Monday, Braxton sparked rumors that she was dissing the show and her former co-hosts when she laughed about “The Real” supposedly struggling with ratings after her exit. “Oh Lord, ain’t that terrible. Lord Jesus. Help them Lord. Save it. Resuscitate,” she said.
Following Braxton’s May departure from the talk show, Love said on the “Tom Joyner Morning Show” that she and the other co-hosts would miss Braxton being on the panel. “We really wish her well and we just have to move on with the show and think about the fans,” she said.
So far, “The Real” has not found a replacement but has had celebrities like Angela Simmons, Evelyn Lozada and Monica fill in as guest co-host.
