Tamar Braxton has once again denied her ex-boyfriend David Adefeso's claim that she attacked him while he was driving.
In an interview with Tamron Hall, set to air Wednesday, Braxton said she was not in an abusive relationship with her ex-boyfriend and that audio and video recordings of the incident will prove her innocence.
"I voice-recorded it, he videotaped it," she said, before insisting that the recordings show no physical abuse.
She continued, "He has the video tape. He has it. It was in his car. Release it."
Braxton also called Adefeso an amazing partner and her "best friend," People reported.
"Let me tell you something, I loved David," she said of her two-year relationship with Adefeso.
"He was my son's best friend as well, they were best friends," the "Braxton Family Values" star said. "And it's just so hard because through everything else, I never expected this from him. Now, I have to be real with myself, is he acting like this because he found me the way that he found me? Probably, I don't know."
In September, Adefeso filed for a restraining order against Braxton after she allegedly punched him during a car ride.
Detailing the alleged incident on his YouTube video, Adefeso claimed he was driving at high speed when Braxton allegedly attacked him.
"A blow to my neck, my jugular," he said. "For those of you who know about medicine and the jugular, that's what carries blood to your brain. When you're hit there, it discombobulates you. I thought I was going to crash. I was driving fast."
Unnamed sources close to Braxton told The Blast at the time that Adefeso had threatened to kill her in a "murder-suicide."
The couple allegedly got into an argument that saw Braxton accusing Adefeso of being "around for the wrong reasons and could not be trusted." He became "irate, threatening not only her life but his own," the source said.
A rep for Adefeso has disputed Braxton's account and said her punch almost caused a car crash.
"The DA is investigating the incident and Mr. Adefeso is forced to serve her publicly by taking out an ad in the Los Angeles Times Since she has dodged being served the DVTRO," the rep added.
