The Tampa Bay Buccaneers became one of the NFL’s most interesting teams overnight in March. After signing Tom Brady, the Bucs are likely to be featured prominently in several primetime games when the 2020 schedule is released Thursday night.

The dates and times for Tampa’s games haven’t been made public, but the Bucs already know which teams they will face next season. Brady is set to go head-to-head with some of the league’s best quarterbacks in his first year with the Buccaneers.

The defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs will visit Tampa Bay at some point. After winning the 2018 regular-season MVP award and February’s Super Bowl MVP award, Mahomes has surpassed Brady as the NFL’s best quarterback.

Even during Brady’s prime, Aaron Rodgers was considered by many to be the top signal caller in football. Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers will visit the Buccaneers in 2020.

Brady will take on Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints twice in a battle of NFC South rivals. Brees has managed to defeat Father Time, as well, posting a 116.3 passer rating last year in his age-40 season.

The Bucs will both host and visit the Atlanta Falcons and Carolina Panthers. Tampa Bay went 2-4 against NFC South opponents in 2019.

The Los Angeles Chargers, L.A. Rams and Minnesota Vikings will all play in Tampa Bay. The Buccaneers are scheduled to have road games against the Chicago Bears, Denver Broncos Detroit Lions and New York Giants. Tampa Bay will visit the Las Vegas Raiders, who were once considered to be suitors for Brady in free agency.

Tampa Bay ranks 16th in strength of schedule. The Buccaneers’ opponents had a combined .500 record a season ago.

The Bucs went 7-9 in 2019 for a third-place finish in the division. Tampa Bay last reached the playoffs in the 2007 season.

Brady has won 27 playoff games since the Bucs picked up their last postseason victory.
