The Missoni for Target collection sold out of retail stores in minutes Tuesday and crashed Target's Web site as shoppers scrambled to scoop up some of the cut-price designer wares.

It seems that perhaps some of those shoppers may have been plotting to capitalize on the Missoni for Target craze.

The blog Shefinds.com reported Tuesday that there are 1,473 Missoni for Target pieces currently for sale on eBay -- pretty remarkable considering none of the pieces have been available for more than a day.

When IBTimes checked it out, there were 1,954 items -- less than half an hour after the Shefinds story was posted.

Items for sale include a Missoni for Target 2-pc luggage set, selling for - ! - $525.00. We cannot get on the Target website to cross-reference the prices, but we are pretty sure Target sells HDTVs for less than that.

At the moment, the highest tickets item is a Missoni for Target Three-speed women's bike (yes, a designer bike) with a starting bid of $950.00. Or you can buy it now for a cool $2,500.
