Taylor Armstrong, the estranged wife of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Russell Armstrong, told E! News that "She requests privacy at this time so that she may comfort her young daughter" through a rep. Russell Armstrong, 47 appears to have committed suicide by hanging.

"Her thoughts and prayers are also with Russell's 11- and 13-year-old sons," Taylor's rep also said.

Taylor and Russell have a 5-year-old child, Kennedy, together. Armstrong also has two sons, Aiden and Griffin from a previous marriage and a former fiancé.

According to TMZ, Taylor Armstrong has not told Kennedy yet. "She's not emotionally ready to do so just yet," a close friend told TMZ.

Taylor's body was found by a roommate in his Mulholland Drive home Monday. It appears as though Taylor hung himself but no formal cause of death has been announced.

A coroner will begin to examine Taylor's body tomorrow.
