Taylor Stevens, Porn Star, Distracts Devils Coach Peter DeBoer At Stanley Cup Final Playoffs [VIDEO]
There was quite a stir at the Stanley Cup final game four on Wednesday, but not because of the New Jersey Devils' 3-1 victory over the L.A. Kings in the playoffs, but rather a viral video of porn star Taylor Stevens distracting coach Peter DeBoer.
Stevens, an adult film actress, was seated behind the glass of the Devils bench on Wednesday at the Staples Center. NBC cameras caught video footage of coach DeBoer looking up at the scoreboard. Problem is, the cameramen panned far enough to the left to include Stevens' breasts pressed up against the glass, something DeBoer appeared to be staring at, in the shot.
While it is unclear whether or not DeBoer spotted Stevens, he did move to the left toward her to get a better view of the jumbotron, which many believe was an excuse to steal a glance of Stevens.
According to Yahoo Sports, Taylor Stevens and Boobs Behind DeBoer became top trending topics on Twitter during the game, while one video uploaded to YouTube amassed more than 1.3 million views in just under two days. Part of the conversation on Twitter started from Taylor Stevens herself, after she tweeted about her intent to distract the Devils.
Lol go kings I'm behind the devils bench glad u can all see me some #devils we're staring At my boobies lol, she tweeted. Yup those are my #boobies against the glass #StanleyCupFinals #kings yaay if u see me on tv lemme know.
Initially, Stevens had plans to throw off the Devils.
Omg @ the #kings game fkn best seats behind the #devils bench I'll distract them, she wrote.
Phoenix Coyotes player Paul Bissonnette also joined in on Twitter to talk about the incident with Taylor Stevens.
Gr8 job tonight @TAYSTEVENS. I heard CBC had it's biggest viewing audience in network history & half the people didn't even notice the game, he tweeted.
Since the Boobs Behind DeBoer incident, countless gifs have been created using video footage from NBC, like a hilarious one over at Sportress of Blogitude.
The incident also resulted in viral fame for Toronto-native Taylor Stevens, who told Canadian radio station TSN 1050 that her notoriety is getting a little bit crazy.
I had a friend of mine text me to say, 'I just saw you!' and I was like, 'that's cool.' I really had no idea until I had gone out, got a few emails and then after the game it just blew up, Stevens said of her Twitter fame.
I just happened to be right behind [DeBoer] at that opportune moment, Stevens said. I have a friend of mine that brought me the tickets, and it was a really, really nice because it's been a rough year for me.
According to Stevens, her rough year encompassed a battle with non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma, for which she underwent radiation therapy for last year.
I still try to take life and enjoy all the moments that I can. That's why I love going to sporting events. I try to live every day of my life to the fullest, she said.
