Taylor Swift, Boyfriend Joe Alwyn's Relationship Going Strong, Pack On PDA At Parties
Taylor Swift and boyfriend Joe Alwyn's relationship is going strong. The two attended three pre-Oscars parties in Los Angeles ahead of the awards ceremony over the weekend.
Swift, 29, and Alwyn, 27, who have yet to make a red carpet appearance as a couple, looked as close and in love as ever when they attended the Night Before party and the CAA bash, as well as another event, according to Daily Mail. The couple had apparently shown off "PDA all over the place."
"Taylor Swift hit up three parties with her boyfriend Joe Alwyn," Perez Hilton told Australian radio show "KIIS FM's Kyle & Jackie O."
Swift and her beau kept their relationship very low-key last year, but it seems they may be ready to make their relationship a little more public this year. "They went to such great lengths in 2018 to every avoid being seen in public together," Hilton added. "Now finally not only are they going to events and supporting each other. But PDA all over the place."
On Friday, Swift looked absolutely gorgeous in a black sequined gown as she got cozy and chatted with Alwyn at the CAA bash in West Hollywood.
This year's Oscars was a big night for Alwyn, whose movie "The Favourite" was nominated for several awards, including ensemble ones that he's included in. Swift reportedly flew in from London to LA to be there for her boyfriend on his big night. She has been busy filming "Cats" in the U.K.
Swift was also Alwyn's date during the after-parties of the 2019 BAFTAs, which was held earlier this month. "The Favourite" took home seven trophies from the ceremony.
Alwyn previously talked about his relationship with Swift during an interview with Mr. Porter's weekly digital magazine The Journal. He said that it shouldn't come as a surprise that he and Swift have kept their relationship very private.
"I don't think anyone you meet on the streets would just spill their guts out to you, and therefore why should I?" he explained. "And then that is defined as being 'strangely private.' Fine. But I don't think it is. I think it's normal."
