Taylor Swift Celebrates 'Evermore' Nomination At 2022 Grammy Awards [Watch]
Taylor Swift has done it again! "Evermore" has been nominated in the "Album Of The Year" category at the 2022 Grammys. Swift celebrated her big nomination with a sweet video.
Last year the "Shake It Off" singer created history as she became the only female artist to win three "Album Of The Year" awards at the Grammy Awards. It looks like she is all set to break her own record with "Evermore."
The Recording Academy announced the nominees for the 64th Grammy Awards on Tuesday and Swift's "Evermore" was among the star-studded list.
However, Swift just got one nomination but the 31-year-old singer did not let that lower her spirits as she was more than happy with the recognition. To celebrate it, she shared a video on Instagram of herself singing.
The black-and-white video shows the "Blank Space" singer dressed in an extravagant white gown singing "Champagne Problems." Her producer Aaron Dessner plays the piano.
"NO PROBLEMS TODAY JUST CHAMPAGNE. I wanted to share this video with you from when @aarondessner and I were doing our fittings for the video and there was a piano, so ofc this happened," she wrote, referring to her "I Bet You Think About Me" music video, in which she donned the same white wedding dress. "SO stoked evermore has been honored like this. Congrats to all our fellow nominees!!"
The video appears to have been shot from above a winding staircase. The cameraperson gets closer and closer as Swift sings the lyrics of her hit song. She can be seen sitting on the floor in her gown.
Swift won the "American Music Award" in the "Favorite Pop Album" category for "Evermore" on Sunday. Though she was not physically present to accept her award, she made sure to give her fans a shout-out in a pre-recorded video.
"Thank you so much to the fans, this is such an amazing honor. The fact that you would do this for evermore, I've always been so proud of this album," Swift said. "I've always looked at evermore as sort of Folklore's adventurous, fun younger sister. So, thank you so much for doing this."
