Taylor Swift released the new music video, "Lavender Haze" Thursday midnight from her 10th studio album, "Midnights."

The 33-year-old singer shared the music video via YouTube and within an hour it gained over one million views. The three-minute, 30-second video starts with Swift lying on a bed and waking up to sing, "Staring at the ceiling with you. Oh, you don't ever say too much and you don't really read into."

The music video further shows how Swift is roaming around the house alone while her partner (played by model Laith Ashley De La Cruz) is sleeping on the bed peacefully.

The singer shared a series of screenshots from the music video on Twitter the same day.

"The Lavender Haze video is out now," Swift wrote alongside the photos. "There is lots of lavender. There is lots of haze. There is my incredible costar @laith_ashley who I absolutely adored working with."

In the same tweet thread, she added, "This was the first video I wrote out of the 3 that have been released, and this one really helped me conceptualize the world and mood of Midnights, like a sultry sleepless 70's fever dream. Hope you like it."

"Lavender Haze" is penned by Swift alongside Jack Antonoff, Zoë Kravitz, Mark Anthony Spears, Jahaan Akil Sweet and Sam Dew. Directed by Swift herself, the music video is produced by Sara D'Alessio, with Rina Yang on cinematography.

Swift dropped her 10th studio album, "Midnights," on Oct. 21 last year. The album had 13 tracks, including the hit songs "Bejeweled," "Maroon" and "Anti-Hero."

Regarding the music video for "Bejeweled," the singer revealed last year how she approached actress Laura Dern to feature in the video.

"I was like, 'Oscar-winner Laura Dern, hello. I've written a script. It's a one-scene script in which you are going to call me 'a tired, tacky wench' and she was like 'I'm down,'" Swift said. "She's the coolest. She's so funny. She's another one. I'm like, 'Friend, You are my friend now.'"

On the personal front, Swift has been in a relationship with British actor Joe Alwyn since 2016. The couple previously worked together on two tracks, "Exile" and "Betty," for the 2020 music album "Folklore."
