Taylor Swift talks Boyfriends and Perfume on ‘Ellen’ [VIDEO]
Taylor Swift talked about boyfriends and perfume on a recent episode of Ellen.
On the episode, airing Wednesday, the 21-year-old arrived in a blushing red dress, complete with red lipstick and red cheeks.
Ellen DeGeneres wasted no time asking Swift about her love life, as the young singer was describing the new perfume's ingredients (for the record, there's vanilla, amber, freesia and notes of peach and raspberry).
And does your boyfriend like the way it smells? asked DeGeneres.
I don't have one. I keep telling you that. I just don't... I, for real, don't have a boyfriend. I sit by myself and I watch 'Law & Order.' I don't have a boyfriend, Swift answered.
I don't have even kind of a boyfriend. I don't have someone that I'm texting that's a guy, that might someday be my boyfriend. There's like, nothing going on right now, she added.
Swift's no-boyfriend declaration is the complete opposite of her star-studded past love life.
The Sparks Fly singer has been romantically linked to Joe Jonas, Twilight wolf hunk Taylor Lautner, Jake Gyllenhaal and John Mayer.
That's pathetic, DeGeneres told Swift of her boyfriend troubles.
But Swift says she's OK with it.
If you're the girl that needs a boyfriend and then once she loses that boyfriend and needs to replace with a different boyfriend, it's just this constant stream of boyfriends all the time. And I don't feel like I ever want to be that girl. I want to be that girl, when she falls in love, it's a big deal and it's a rare thing, Swift said.
Last week, Swift was named the youngest recipient in Billboard history to receive the annual Woman of the Year Award. The singer will be honored at an event in New York City on Dec. 2.
Swift is currently on the U.S. leg of our Speak Now World Tour, which kicked off back in February in Singapore. Her third studio album, Speak Now, has sold more than 5.5 million copies worldwide.
