  • Taylor Swift shared a new black-and-white photo where she's posing inside what appears to be a cabin
  • She teased that there's "not a lot going on at the moment"
  • Swift said the same exact words in a post back in April while fans were unaware she was working on "Folklore"

Taylor Swift's fans are convinced that she is working on something big and will soon surprise them.

The "Cardigan" singer appeared to tease fans when she shared a black-and-white photo on Twitter and Instagram Sunday. In the snap, she poses on the couch in comfortable clothes, looking bored, inside what appears to be a cabin.

“not a lot going on at the moment,” she wrote in the caption.

Back in April, Swift also told fans that she didn’t have “a lot going on” but was actually working on “Folklore” at the time. Thus, some have taken this as a clue that Swift is hard at work on something amazing for fans.

Those who have been following Swift are convinced that the new post is another Easter egg for her single “Exile.”

"EXILE is COMING!!! There's an obvious Easter egg on a frame which is a SHIELD that is used to defend ourselves referencing to 'So what am I defending now'," one fan commented.

"So #exile music video is coming?!?! Honestly, I think that’s more likely to happening than the re recording of red vut who knows we might be clowning @taylorswift13," a third fan tweeted.

"YOU GAVE SO MANY SIGNS #AMAs #TaylorSwift #folklore #exile," another netizen wrote. "This is like a scene for a music video is Exile mv coming?" @artsycandace17 posted.

Other fans did not seem as convinced that Swift was working on a music video for “Exile” but agreed that she is definitely going to release something soon.

"I know you damn well made a whole album before posting this pic," one fan wrote.

"LAST TIME SHE DID THIS SHE STARTED RECORDING FOLKLORE.. MS. SWIFT WHAT ARE YOU DOING," @swiftieboston posted.

"MA’AM I DONT TRUST YOU CAUSE LAST TIME YOU CAPTIONED A PHOTO WITH THIS YOU WERE DOING A FOLKLORE PHOTOSHOOT THE SAME DAY SO WHAT DOES IT MEEEEEAAAAANNNN," a third fan commented.

"No offense ma’am but last time you said this you were making your greatest album yet so excuse me for not believing you,” another Twitter user wrote.

Prior to this post, Swift confirmed last week that she has started the work of re-recording her old songs.

She wrote in a statement on Twitter that private equity company Shamrock Holdings had purchased her music from Scooter Braun. Swift said she had initially hoped to work with Shamrock, but she was told that the company's deal with Braun would allow him to continue profiting off her music.

Swift went on to reveal her plans, writing, “I have recently begun re-recording my older music and it has already proven to be both exciting and creatively fulfilling. I have plenty of surprises in store….I can't wait for you guys to hear what I've been dreaming up.”
