Taylor Swift And Tom Hiddleston Split? ‘Shake It Off’ Singer Calls It Quits After Three Months Of Dating

Another whirlwind summer romance has come to an end.

Taylor Swift, who was reportedly dating “Thor: Ragnarok” actor Tom Hiddleston, has broken up with the British actor after three months of dating. The 26-year-old singer started an affair with the 35-year-old portrayer of Loki after the couple were spotted cozying up on the beach outside Swift’s Rhode Island mansion.

A source told Entertainment Tonight, “It was an amicable split.”

Except who called the shots? Apparently, it was Swift who ended the relationship. “She was the one to put the brakes on the relationship,” an insider told US Weekly, “Tom wanted the relationship to be more public than she was comfortable with. Taylor knew the backlash that comes with public displays of affection but Tom didn’t listen to her concerns when she brought them up.”

Hiddleston is seemingly “embarrassed” that their romance fizzled out.

Swift and “The Night Manager” star allegedly had their first fight in August. “It was an intense start,” an insider told US Weekly. “No one can keep that kind of momentum going.”

The couple had an international romance with Swift and Hiddleston going on dates to Italy, Australia, Nashville and England. Hiddleston even meet Swift’s parents, and she, in turn, met his mother Diane. It seemed like the pair were getting serious. In fact, the “Thor” actor even confirmed their relationship during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

Hiddleston and Swift were last spotted on July 27 at a restaurant in California holding hands.

The “Blank Space” singer started dating the handsome hunk merely two weeks after splitting with 32-year-old Scottish DJ Calvin Harris. Harris is currently spending his time with Mexican actress and singer, Eiza González.
