Taylor Swift wins best album, video of the year at CMAs
Taylor Swift won two awards Wednesday night at the CMAs including album of the year.
The singer showed gratitude to her fans. She took an award for Fearless, the top selling album of 2009 and for best video of the year for Love Story. She had been nominated for Entertainment of the year and female vocalist of the year.
You guys, this album is my diary and so to all the people who voted for me for this is a thank you for saying you love my diary because that's the nicest compliment, Swift told the audience.
Although rapper Kanye West did not attend the CMAs, hosts Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood and country legend Little Jimmy Dickens made fun of his infamous interruption of Taylor Swift on September at the MTV VMAs.
Paisley and Underwood at one time sang the country song Mamas Don't let your babies grow up to be cowboys but changed the lyrics to Mamas don't let your babies grow up to be Kanye. They also sang cause cowboys have manners, they don't interrupt.
In another move, Dickens jumped to the stage and interrupted Paisley. Excuse me, sir. I'll let you finish later. I know you had a nice video and all, but Taylor Swift made the best video of all time. Of all time! You go, girl!
