Taylor Swift’s Boyfriend Joe Alwyn Reveals Secret To Relationship With ‘Reputation’ Singer

Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn have been going strong for almost two years and according to the 27-year-old actor, there’s a special reason why his relationship with the “Gorgeous” singer has been successful.

Alwyn and Swift were first romantically linked in May 2017. However, the couple had reportedly been dating for several months before their relationship became public knowledge.

During an interview with British Vogue (via People), the “Mary Queen of Scots” actor revealed the secret to his solid relationship with the 28-year-old pop star. “I’m aware people want to know about that side of things,” he shared.

“I think we have been successfully very private and that has now sunk in for people … but I really prefer to talk about work,” he added.

Sources previously told E! News when Swift began dating Alwyn, she was determined to keep her new romance out of the press. “Taylor went to great lengths to keep their relationship private and out of the spotlight while [she and Alwyn] have been getting to know one another,” an insider explained.

“She has made several trips to see him, but always flies in and out on a private jet with lots of security and has been flying into very small and remote airports,” the source continued.

A simple date for the couple typically meant going to remote locations to avoid having their photos taken, but since news of their romance broke, Swift and Alwyn have been occasionally photographed together.

The pair was last seen out together in late August, grabbing dinner in London. “Taylor was all smiles and looked lovingly across the table at Joe,” a source told E! at the time.

“They seemed excited to be together and like they had lots to catch up on. They shared their main course and took their time talking and enjoying the evening.”

Nowadays, both Swift and Alwyn have been busy focusing on their careers. While the singer has been traveling the world for her “Reputation” tour, the actor has been promoting his upcoming film, “The Favourite.”

Seeing as the couple has successfully mastered the art of hiding their relationship, it may be a while before fans see an image of Alwyn and Swift together surface again.
