Taylor Swift's Former Bodyguard Testifies In Sexual Assault Trial
Taylor Swift's former bodyguard claimed that she was sexually assaulted by former Denver-based radio DJ David Mueller in court Friday, according to Us Weekly.
Greg Dent, her once bodyguard, spoke about the incident in his testimony at a Denver federal court. Dent claimed to have witnessed Mueller sliding his hand up Swift's skirt during a meet-and-greet at the singer's Red Tour stop in Denver. Dent asserted that he saw the DJ push her skirt down.

According to a Us Weekly reporter who was in attendance, Dent said, "His hand went under her skirt. I did not see his hand touch her physically. I saw his hand under her skirt. She reacted, pushed her skirt down and moved over. So in my opinion, I knew he touched her."
He added, "She continued on with the meet-and-greet and since she didn't give me any indication to do anything, I stood off to the side. I know what I saw but I didn't do anything because she said that sometimes I was a little too mean...I am sure she would have said something if she wanted me to intervene."
Swift gave an hour-long testimony Thursday. According to Reuters, the singer said, "It was a definite grab...a very long grab. It was intentional. He stayed latched onto my bare ass cheek. I felt him grab onto my ass cheek under my skirt."
Mueller denied all accusations of an intentional grab. Instead, he claimed during his testimony Tuesday that he may have innocently groped her, but he also added that Swift may have had made a mistake in identifying him as the perpetrator.

Swift earned a trial-related victory in July prior to case beginning. According to the Denver Post, legal documents obtained by the local new publication showed that a federal judge — U.S. District Judge William Martinez — had dismissed Mueller's defamation claims after he learned that the former DJ destroyed multiple electronic devices that allegedly possessed information in favor of Swift's allegations.
"It was completely intentional, I've never been so sure of anything in my life," Swift said in audio obtained by Billboard October 2016. The "Bad Blood" singer countersued Mueller after the former DJ filed a $3 million lawsuit against her for slanderous assault claims, which he believed tarnished his reputation and cost him his job at 98.5 KYGO-FM. According to the Denver Post, Swift didn't file a lawsuit until she learned of the legal complaint Mueller targeted her for.
Mueller reportedly encountered Swift when he was invited backstage to attend a meet-and-greet in conjunction with his radio position. His girlfriend was also in attendance.
The "Wildest Dreams" singer's sexual assault trial is expected to last nearly two weeks, according to Associated Press. The news publication also reported that the judge is considering whether or not to dismiss the case altogether.
