Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe will return as hosts for the upcoming Season 18 of "The Bachelorette."

ABC and Warner Bros. Television confirmed the news, according to Variety.

Adams and Bristowe are both former stars of “The Bachelorette” and are currently co-hosting Season 17 of the said show.

The two were recruited as co-hosts for the Season 17 of the show after its longtime host, Chris Harrison, stepped aside from his duties due to a controversial racist comment defending a previous “Bachelor” contestant, Rachael Kirkconnell.

Kirkconnell came under fire when an old photo of her attending an antebellum-themed plantation party in 2018 surfaced on social media. Kirkconnell also liked pictures on social media containing the Confederate flag and was accused on Tiktok of bullying a classmate for dating a Black man. Kirkconnell has since apologized for her comments.

The controversy peaked when Harrison expressed sympathy for Kirkconnell as he spoke with Extra Correspondent and former “Bachelorette” contestant Rachel Lindsay in February.

“I haven’t heard Rachael speak on this yet and until I actually hear this woman have a chance to speak, who am I to say any of this? I saw a picture of her at a sorority party five years ago and that’s it. Like, boom. I’m like, really? ” he said.

Responding to Harrison, Lindsay said, “The picture was from 2018 at an old south antebellum party…that’s not a good look.”

Harrison replied,” Well, Rachel is it a good look in 2018? Or, is it not a good look in 2021? Because there’s a big difference.”

“It’s not a good look ever,” Lindsay said. “If I went to that party, what would I represent at that party?”

After the interview, social media was swamped with criticism against Harrison with some of them calling for his cancelation as show host.

Harrison apologized for his remarks in a lengthy Instagram post shortly after the interview.

According to a previous Variety report, Harrison was offered an exit package of roughly $10 million – a combination of $9 million exit settlement and remaining contractual fees for leaving the job which he held since 2002.

Adams and Bristowe’s contracts include multi-year options, the report said. According to it, the agreement is “typical for any network or studio, in order to give the production the upper hand and flexibility with contractual options for the future.” It also indicates that a permanent replacement for Harrison has not been determined.
