Is 'Teen Mom 2' Coming Back After Season 5? Pregnant Jenelle Evans Teases Season 6 On Instagram
“Teen Mom 2” is already MTV’s most successful spinoff from “16 and Pregnant” and while the fifth season is gearing up to air, Jenelle Evans, one of the “TM2” ladies, teased via Twitter that there might be a another season of her hit show in the works.
Why does this matter? “Teen Mom,” the first “16 and Pregnant” sequel, ended its run with four seasons and “Teen Mom 3” only made it a measly one season. No other show has been able to touch the infatuation of “Teen Mom 2.” Chelsea Houska, Leah Messer Calvert, Kailyn Lowry-Morroquin and, most notably, Jenelle Evans remain in headlines even when the show isn’t on the air. Drama, love, sex, scandals and drugs -- these girls have it all going on.
Evans, who has been in and out of jail and has had numerous different boyfriends throughout her years in front of the MTV cameras, tweeted on Tuesday that her latest lover was getting microphoned, presumably for a new “Teen Mom 2” season.
“Nathan is getting mic'd up as usual,” she wrote on Instagram Tuesday. “Lol more Teen Mom coming yr way!” More than 7,000 fans liked the post.
Evans is easily one of the most gossiped about “Teen Moms.” Her mother Barbara has custody of her 4-year-old son, Jace, and now she’s pregnant with her new boyfriend’s child. In the trailer for season five, the starlet was filmed saying she was pregnant and going to have an abortion since it wouldn’t be fair.
Her estranged husband, Courtland Rogers, assumed the baby being aborted was his child, but it's not clear if he was the father.
He told Radar Online that he was heartbroken by the news and assumed it was his that Evans was talking about.
To find out all the details on the newest episode, tune into MTV at 10/9c on Tuesday for the premiere of season 5 of “Teen Mom 2.”
