Hooked on “Teen Mom 2”? Join the club. But unfortunately you’re going to have a lonely summer without Jenelle Evans, Kailyn Lowry-Marroquin, Chelsea Houska and Leah Messer-Calvert. Rumors have been circulating that the four girls and their toddlers wouldn’t be returning to MTV for another season; however, new reports are teasing a Season 5B premiere date.

According to The Ashley’s Reality Roundup, MTV isn’t ready to say goodbye to the teen moms that have been a part of the network for over five years. That doesn’t mean that the girls will be returning for a sixth season though. In an attempt to avoid renegotiating contracts with the cast and crew, rumor has it that MTV will film a Season 5B, which will premiere in September 2014.

Sources revealed to the site that Season 5B of “Teen Mom 2” would cover everything from the postreunion taping in February to around August. If this is accurate, then filming would cover the birth of Jenelle Evans' second child with boyfriend Nathan Griffith. Jenelle previously revealed that the due date for her baby is June 29.

At the beginning of April Radar Online also confirmed reports of continued filming for “Teen Mom 2.” A source explained that with all the drama brewing – like Jenelle’s pregnancy and Leah and Jeremy’s potential divorce – that it would “be foolish to stop filming now.”

MTV has yet to confirm a Season 5B or a Season 6 of “Teen Mom 2.” However like Radar, sources told The Ashley that the network is “considering” a sixth season and that the show’s stars are more than likely on board.

“It’s hard [for them] to say no,” the insider explained. “This has been their lives for five years now.”

Jenelle wouldn’t confirm the rumors about an extended Season 5 or Season 6, but did suggest that they were true by posting a link on Sulia to reports she believed to be “accurate.”

While you won’t be able to get your “Teen Mom 2” fix for potentially another couple of months, a new season of MTV’s “16 and Pregnant” premiered on April 29 at 11 p.m. Would you watch a Season 5B of “Teen Mom 2”?
