Season 8 of “Teen Mom 2” could be one of the most dramatic ones yet, according to the MTV reality TV show's new trailer. The 1-minute clip gives a glimpse inside the lives of Jenelle Evans, Kailyn Lowry, Leah Messer and Chelsea Houska.

The video kicks off with Evans, who is currently pregnant with her third child. She is sitting in court when she says, “I just try to be a good person and a good mom. That’s all.” It’s not clear if she’s at a custody hearing for her oldest son, Jace, or Kaiser, the son who she shares with ex-fiancé Nathan Griffith.

As usual, she’s fighting with her mother, Barbara, who has custody of Jace. “You don’t want to give me my son back so I do not want to film with you ever again in my f---ing life,” she says. Barbara threatens, “If I [keep] custody than you have limited visitation!”

Evans isn’t the only one in crisis. Season 8 filmed Lowry as she split from Javi Marroquin, husband No. 2. "We're getting divorced, period, point blank!” she says. “It's not like we were this happy couple."

It seems like Lowry cheated on him. Marroquin asks in the trailer, “Have you ever thought about anyone else? You don't think about me, you don't think about your two boys. You can open your legs to someone else, that's not a big f--king deal?”

While things are unraveling for Evans and Lowry, they are seemingly improving for Messer after two divorces and a stint in rehab. “I wanted my girls to live a better life than I did,” the mother of three says. “I feel proud.” Her youngest daughter, Addy, even teases that Messer should get a boyfriend.

Houska also has plenty to be happy for. She announces she’s pregnant with baby No. 2. “You’re going to be a big sister,” she tells daughter Aubrey.

“Teen Mom 2” will air Monday, Jan. 2 at 9 p.m. EST on MTV.
