‘Teen Mom 2’ Star Corey Simms’ Daughter Born Early; Grandfather Shares First Photo Of Baby Remi
Corey Simms became a father for the third time over the weekend. The “Teen Mom 2” star welcomed another daughter, Remi, to the world Sunday.
Corey’s father, Jeff Simms, posted the first picture of the baby Monday. “Remington Monroe surprised us this weekend with her early arrival,” he wrote on Instagram. “She and her mommy are doing well. I am hopelessly in love!”
The proud grandfather posted another photo on Facebook. “I'm already wrapped around that tiny little finger,” Jeff added.
Corey and Miranda Simms revealed that their daughter would be called Remi at Miranda’s baby shower last month. However, they weren’t expecting to meet the little girl so soon. She was reportedly not due until January.
Remi is Corey Simms’ first daughter with wife Miranda, whom he married in 2013. He and first wife, Leah Messer, share twins Ali and Aleeah, 5. The two divorced in 2011 and Leah went on to have a third daughter, Adalynn, 2, with ex-husband Jeremy Calvert.
Corey currently has primary custody of the twins, but they spend weekends with their mother. It looks like they were with their mother when Miranda was in labor. Leah posted two photos with all three of her daughters on Facebook Sunday and captioned them, “Church this morning.”
“Teen Mom 2” fans won’t see any photos of Remi on social media directly from her father. As previously reported, the MTV reality star deleted his Twitter account in October.
