‘Teen Mom 2’ Star Kail Lowry Is Dating Again After Javi Divorce, Received ‘No Support’ During Miscarriage

Kail Lowry has decided to break her silence on her divorce from husband Javi Marroquin. In response to rumors surrounding the “Teen Mom 2” stars’ separation, Kail took to her blog to address their split and to reveal she’s dating again.

After recent rumors being flying about what played a role in their decision to announce their split in May, Kail made it clear in a blog post titled “Setting the Record Straight” that nothing in particular caused the end of her and Javi’s marriage.

Kail said she filed for divorce in December 2015 (She was not able to be made official due to Javi’s U.S. Air Force deployment) because she felt “trapped” for a long time and she didn’t want her two boys to see her unhappy anymore, a statement she previously echoed on the MTV docuseries.

I woke up. I decided my boys deserved to see their mom happy and witness a relationship based on love, not tolerance. If I couldn’t give them that example of a marriage, I’d rather wait until I could and focus on becoming the best mother and person I could be in the meantime.

Kail added that her miscarriage, one of her main storylines on “Teen Mom 2” Season 7, was just one factor that caused issues in their relationship. “... I had no support through the grieving process,” the 24-year-old wrote, denying rumors she had an abortion. “I had blame, anger, and shame but no support.”

And while she admits she and Javi have considered getting back together at times, she says they have both tried to move on.

“... We have both seen other people during this time,” she wrote, later adding, “Have I been dating? Yeah... Is it ultimately my decision if I do? Yes! I’m separated, pending divorce, it’s not a crime to date. What’s okay for one has to be okay for the other and that’s all I’ll say about that.”
